Yay! After so long of taking up photography, we've finally getting hands on on Zooming and Panning! :D
I've only read about zooming, I've never really tried it before.
I remember our tutor and lecturer said, to get good zooming photographs, we must find a good and interesting subject to zoom in on.
So here's what I got on
Zooming:
I spotted this colorful van outside Jaya1, and I quickly zoom in on it :)
I like this picture because Super Saiyan 2's
eye in completely in focus!! :D
I also realized that it's hard to get your subject to be in total focus when I zoom. Especially if I don't use tripod.
This mask was taken at Pasar Seni.
Personally I love this picture. It gives me the scary, creepy feeling.
but the problem was, the mask is out of focus :'(
Is this still acceptable as a good zoom picture, then Sir? lol.
Today, my parent brought me to Musium Orang Asil, because I told them I wanted to take pictures of more masks :)
In the end, I didn't take pictures of masks, but I got nice pictures of drawings.
See this picture below? It looks normal.
But after I zoom in on it, it looks awesome!
Look:
It gives me a 3D feeling :D
me likey.
I like this type of zooming effect on pictures so much that I took a few more pictures :D
So bare with me. Haha.
This drawing pattern looks like batik.
Here's another one with little zooming effect:
And here's one with a huge zoom burst :)
And now for Panning:
My first panning picture!
I was so excited I got it right. Even though my subject is not too focused, but this picture is my first try at panning :)
Here, I pan my sister as she ran in her school's sports day.
She was fast ;)
I like the fact that this white car looks like it is standing out from the background.
Night time.
I did not use tripod.
A old uncle riding his motorbike.
I know all my panning shots are typical and normal, so I try to get interesting subjects.
See the driver?
He turns around to look at me while I was panning his car.
haha.
I guess I do look weird standing by the roadside at night with a camera in my hand.
